Re: I Can't Stand Romney.
I can't stand that this guy is slated to be our nominee.

BREAKING: Mitt Romney Urged Obama to Embrace the Individual Mandate
Had Michigan not been as close, the Democrats would have waited to spring this on us in the general election. Luckily we have it now and I hope Ohio voters are paying attention.
In July 2009, Mitt Romney wrote an op-ed in USA Today urging Barack Obama to use an individual mandate at the national level to control healthcare costs.
On the campaign trail now, Mitt Romney says the individual mandate is appropriate for Massachusetts, but not the nation. Repeatedly in debates, Romney has said he opposes a national individual mandate.
But back in 2009, as Barack Obama was formulating his healthcare vision for the country, Mitt Romney encouraged him publicly to use an individual mandate. In his op-ed, Governor Romney suggested that the federal government learn from Massachusetts how to make healthcare available for all. One of those things was “Using tax penalties, as we did, or tax credits, as others have proposed, encourages “free riders” to take responsibility for themselves rather than pass their medical costs on to others.”

Well I'm sending this news story to everyone I know. Let's go!
Don't know if it'll be enough to bring Romney down... but I sure hope it helps.

He got the job done, this clip shows that he went to the only source available for turning around the Olympics, Washington.
I would trust Mitt in the WH over the other candidates because he now knows DC is broke and the people will not tolerate higher and higher taxes. He will turn that same ability to get things done to what is needed to correct the overspending and the overtaxing of small business, which is the lifeblood of this economy.
No one is going to shut down the government's involvement in our lives abruptly, without completely destroying our economy and creating a depression that would take generations to recover from. NOBODY, not even Ron Paul.
I believe Romney knows we are in trouble and me must get on a path to sanity. It must be done now and it must be done carefully and slowly, but it must be done or we become Greece at best or a complete meltdown at worst. If the economy crashes completely, the riots will destroy the country, we are at a true crossroads for survive. Occupy would have been a walk in the park by comparison.
I vote for a man that understands economy, and will use the government carefully to help moderate the fall, and turn the fall into a recovery of the economy on a firmer foundation. The government cannot be all for all for all people, but the people of this country with leadership that relieves the fear and instills confidence can cause the resources of the American people to light a fire in the economy that overcomes the debt and balances the budget.
Then finally sets up firewall to prevents a repeat of the current insanity. Am I dreaming? Maybe? But it could happen, if we have honest leadership, and most of all with God's help.

Mitt is not the same man as is in this clip. Just as Newt is not the same man as he was, folks grow and change. I thank God, I am not the same man I was 20-30 years ago.

I believe he will become the nominee by default. But, he hasn't convinced the majority of Americans. That is troubling going toward November. The other troubling factor is that Romney is winning in the states that Obama will carry in the general election.
I am happy that Newt won his own state. I don't care what happens now. At least the people in Georgia knew the real Newt, his work in Congress, and believed in him. Romney barely won his homestate. Squeezed in by a mere 3%.
Like I said, and I have criticized Newt as well - they all have baggage, but Newt is the only one with the guts to pivot this country in the right direction. Romney will do whatever the GOP tells him to do. That is why they don't want Newt or Perry.

I sincerely pray that we get not only the nominee but also the president that this country needs to get us on a right track in every area of our culture.
May there be an awakening to the need to walk in righteous, to love good and our fellow folks. May we have the courage not only to seek to know the right paths but also to walk in them. If we ever needed guide from the creator its is now.

Romney is never the same man he ever is in any given situation.
He is a political opportunist that likes money and power. That is it. I'm sorry if you don't agree but I haven't seen him prove otherwise and I just don't find it to be a coincidence that in every race he runs in he tries to portray himself as just as conservative or just as liberal as the media says he needs to be to win that particular election.
