That's for sure.

It seems this week there has been a turn on this board that doesn't feel as safe or a tolerant community as it use to be.

We are diverse here and so far, the core group here get along just fine with those diversities. We have learned to respect each other, but when a word like reprobate gets thrown around......just not feeling good about that.
My maternal grandmother died reprobate...unable to discern right from wrong. She blasphemed the Holy Ghost, telling my father in my presence that there was no such thing as the Holy Ghost.

So, you can see that this is a very serious issue with me...I was very young when it happened, but will never forget it.

To say that any of the posters here are reprobate is disturbing.

This is not indicative of absolute agreement or thinking that everyone here is walking in the Spirit 24/7, but reprobate?!

I would never think that at all, let alone say it.

I'm glad you both said this because I have been saying it for the longest, but it seems to fall on deaf ears.

The term "reprobate" is thrown around way too lightly and sometimes in an unthinking manner I think.

But it doesn't surprise me one bit but what there are some here who would definitely seriously consider some who post on this forum as reprobate .... considering their definition of the terms "saved" and "backslid" and what it takes to be both.

Don't they have a right to their opinion as do the rest of posters who are registered here do?

It doesn't bother me a bit if someone else labels me heretic or reprobate. I've been called both before. It rolls off me like water off a duck's back.

I am afraid some on this forum border on being reprobate concerning truth they once walked in and the seeming hatred and disgust they have for it. I think many are in error on issues but their attitude is not maligant toward truth or the church. But a constant disdain and hostile attitude toward that which is godly and the empathy they have very any error or vile lifestyles is frightening to say the least.
Evidently I do not know because I pray for the members of this forum for eyes to be opened and hearts to be touched and their faith to be restored to the Apostolic church and it's ONLY saving message.
