Ok, how about this...if anyone has a need or is looking for something specific, like for example a gently used coat - can we post those needs here? Or if we have say a gently used coat that we'd be willing to give away, we can post it here too...it could be anything from widgets to refigerators.....

We could also solicit information on where to find something or hints on getting something you need cheaper....

This past week dh and I were cleaning up the house and found that we have a LOT-O-STUFF!! I'd love to give away clothes and things we have either never worn or the kids outgrew after one wearing...Perhaps other AFFers are in the same boat, or could use some stuff....OR just maybe you know someone in your church that could use just about anything. I'm sure there are other folks out there like me that have say, complete bathrooms of stuff (decorative including the towels) from whatever mood you were in at some point in your life.....it's good stuff just collecting dust in a closet. Someone might be setting up house and could use it....I'm not just talking about clothes, but man do we have clothes..kids clothes never worn, shoes...dont get me started....

No sense donating it to someone who will make a profit on it, when we can bless our brothers and sisters....

We have a new convert that could use some nicer clothes.

This is a great idea!

Shipping would be $4-10 and that is easy for anyone who would then get garments worth much more!

Get sizes...

sometimes you run across a great bargain, one that is almost sinful to pass up...but dont know anyone that could be blessed by said bargain...

then them being a new convert, it's highly possible they are not as fluffy as most of the more "seasoned" pentecostals and we have closets of "skinny" clothes we can loan to the new convert until they fatten up ROFL!!!

late night trips to shoneys/dennys/steak and shake and perkins will do that, you know?

Yepper...I know esxactly what you mean...my closet has sizes: 6, 8, 10, 12, and an occasional 14...

How about making use of the shopping mall forum area... we could have a giveaway type thing kinda like freecycle.. each person could do their own thread and keep it updated when items are gone.

since I mentioned this earlier...now I have a question...

does anyone out here in AFF land, work for a company that sells, makes, or distributes Chromium?

I need to get some and I'd rather purchase from a company that would in turn somehow help one of our own...
