Weather!!!
Pray for the folks in the area of these storms today.
My daughter just called from college and they have their class in the basement in St. Charles area.
Scary feeling knowing I'm so far from her, but I know God is with her!

Have you looked online at some of the radar maps? It doesn't look good. This is a VERY wide area of storms going across.
We're under a tornado watch here till 6pm.... Skies are already looking kind of weird. I know God is in control-- but these storm threats always make me a little nervous.

it was passing over st charles by the time you posted this and it was approaching my house, just across the river in Godfrey...
it got yellow, then black dark and windy..it rained real hard - for about a minute and a half....
then it was gone.
It took a little longer to pass over St Charles as the direction the storm was headed and it size, but it did pass....quickly.
I left home soon after it passed my house and drove with it for a few minutes then it out ran me going the other way...by the time I got to work in Granite City (just across from downtown STL) the sun was shining

Yes, I looked while I was talking to her - - didn't want to frighten her, but thank goodness they do have basements in St. Louis!

Renda, will be praying for your area, and those affected.
I have never been through the extreme weather you guys get.
I can not imagine what it must be like.

There's nothing scary about 10-16 inches of snow!!!
I had a test today but didn't go to school. The college here doesn't ever close for weather but they won't punish someone for not attending due to bad weather. So I called this morning and I'll attend the Monday class and take my test then.
I don't understand what you all are so scared about though. It's just a little snow!! LOL!
