What if you only believed God could?

If someone only believed God COULD save them but not necessarily God will or wants to save them, would they be saved? Would they not be waiting and hoping for God to change His mind and finally save them?

I wonder why we expect people to believe God wants to save you but not that God wants to heal you?

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Good thoughts here. I have often said that many believe that God "can", but only a very few believe that he "will".

If you do not see healing scriptures in the bible as being specifically for you, then you likely will not receive healing. Some say that is mean, but in fact it is simply reality. Faith does not come by your idea's. It does not come because someone else received a healing. It does not come for any other reason than you HEARING the Word. Not with a natural ear, but with a spiritual ear. The moment you HEAR the voice of God through his incorruptible Word, faith will spring forth like a flower garden in May, and you will receive your healing.
