Our son Arlei and wife Gilene. These are the ones that are moving to the jungle area. Sunday he is taking a van load of brothers up there once again to work on our church we are building. Please pray for them. This is a faith ministry.
Thanks...

Are they making a road through the jungle?...Or getting ready to plant a garden or what? I guess planting a garden might not work. Would the animals eat the plants? I am "ignorant of the ways of the jungle."

Arlei´s real mother was a missionary from our Brazilian church. She was poisoned in Paraguay many years ago by people who hated christians. We took her 5 children she left and raised them. His father had left his mother when she became a believer. Today all 5 children are grown and serve the Lord. I know his real mother would be so proud of him...and Brother Alvear and I are proud of him and his family.

Sister Alvear,
I am so enjoying all of these pictures that you've been posting. They go a long ways toward helping to make your ministry more "real" to all of us Thanks for taking the time to share!!
By the way, how many children have you raised??? How many of your own and then how many 'adopted'???
