I also changed my position
Houston is not the only one to change his position. I have changed my position. I have changed the position of my recliner in the den from all the way back to halfway back. Easier to read and watch tv. Also keeps me from dozing off there instead of bed which is important since my CPAP machine is not at my recliner.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

NEVER FALL ASLEEP IN A RECLINER.
Go to bed.
Make sure you buy a new mattress every 5 to 7 years.
Get some good rest, especially as old as you are.
Also how is the singing coming along with Sister CC1?

Trust me the severe sleep apnea keeps me from sleeping in my recliner!
No kidding about the rest as old as I am! LOL
No change in my singing stance. You were inspiring but I am still sticking to only singing in the shower and when alone in the car. It is best for humanity.

IN the car. I drive her nuts though because I can't sing harmony. I automatically sing whatever the other person is singing. LOL!!! When I was in the choir in Bible College I used to hate it if I had to sit next to a person singing another part. I was a tenor but if I was next to the soprano's and they were louder than the person on the other side of me I would automatically start singing the soprano part.

Awesome! You sang in Bible college, and sing with Sister CC1 in the car. That is great. You can sing harmony, you aren't tone deaf? when is your next long trip together in the car? You can practice with her. Then, you can ask the pastor if you can both sing a special. I'm telling you, you will be blessing to the church family!

Re: I also changed my position
Twas in the choir once or twice. That didn’t last long. ROFLOL!
I used to be able to harmonize. But, to sing on my own- no way!
A friend and I would meet at the home of another friend. We would sing praises to God in his back yard. We were 18.. 19... Good times.
