Prediction: The Charismatics Will Seek Holiness!
I am talking about Jesus Culture. I am talking about Hillsongs. I am talking Forerunner Ministries and the like-- the people who seek the Face of God, even though they do not share our truth.
I am not calling for compromise doctrine or lifestyle. In fact, I am encouraging the OPPOSITE!
Hopefully the former Apostolics will be included in this revival too-- but I think it will be more difficult for them than for the other groups. Still, more difficult does not mean impossible.
FOR THERE IS NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!
We need to hold our personal holiness as sacred. I am thoroughly convinced that the Power we have access to in the Holy Spirit is tapped when we are living in His holiness.
As for their inability to see the truth that we see so clearly, I don't know what God will do. I have said it before and I believe this: If there is a way for these folks to be saved, our God will save them.
He saves who He will!
Notwithstanding, holiness. Seek it. Hold it. Don't let go of it!
There is nothing "magical" about holiness-- but the Power of God will be revealed in the lives of those who set themselves apart for His Glory!

Re: Prediction: The Charismatics Will Seek Holine
I believe some of them have BEEN seeking holiness. I cant say all. But at least some. I am convinced there are people in at least one of these groups who ARE living holy as in consecrated and committed.
Matter of fact IMO some are living closer to Jesus than some Apostolics. Now this is MY experience from Apostolics I have known or heard by way of recordings or writings.
And yes they lack the great truth of Oneness and Acts 2:38 as the new birth but I have been praying a long time for God to move in their midst to bring these things out, so what can I do but believe it will happen?

That Misty lady you like so much-- who is she associated with?
I know that IHOP had Oneness people with them in the very beginning of their foundations... but look at what IHOP is: INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PRAYER!
There is power in the kind of personal holiness they advocate.
I'm afraid we deny this at the peril of our own closeness to God-- we have the Truth-- AND WE DO-- but they don't so the holiness they seek is unnecessary as "someone" (maybe it will come in a form of a dream) reveals to us the freedom we have to live more loose than some charismatics!

IHOP is just one-- but they will be joined by a sea of Holy Ghost seekers and they will realize and embrace HOLINESS.
So convinced I am, I PROPHESY THIS IN JESUS NAME and if the Admin could change the title of my thread to "PROPHESY" I'd appreciate it.

It goes beyond old scandals. ihop and it's founder and representatives like Misty Edwards promote mysticism and contemplative/centering teaching.
Bickle has promoted lectio devina, has praised Bernard of Clairvaux and Father Thomas Keating - openly promoting catholic mystics and eastern philosophy.
If only ihop had past scandals to worry about. They have much bigger issues.

Misty has been at IHOP since it began. She is a legend to many because of her prayer life and fasting for weeks at a time. As a young woman she committed to Jesus she would not date, marry, or have her own home for 10 years.
At the end of it she re upped but I dont know how long the consecration is this time. I love and appreciate Misty as her songs were hard hitting songs of loving Jesus, judgment and personal holiness.
I have not payed as much attention to IHOP as I did from about 2009-2012. In those days I was much blessed by them. Some things seem to have gone the wrong way since then but I sure haven't written them off.
People becoming members of IHOP are expected to repent and be baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit with tongues.
So far they are still Trinitarians but I pray if God needs to raise up people preaching truth and lead them OUT of IHOP that he will do it.
If I were Trinitarian IHOP would be my Church.

Do you have any source for this? This isn't what ihop's SOF says.
"Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. No ordinance, ritual, work or any other activity on the part of man is required or accepted for his salvation. This saving grace of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, also sanctifies us by enabling us to do what is pleasing in God’s sight, that we might be progressively conformed to the image of Christ."
