End Time Revival? Prove it...
Do you believe there will be "great(est) revival" at some point in the near (or far) future?
If so, will you prove it from Scripture?
If not, please likewise prove the case from Scripture.

Re: End Time Revival? Prove it...
I am unaware of any passage that speaks of a special end time revival.
But as Esaias might quip, I have been wrong before

Re: End Time Revival? Prove it...
I have heard some base this off several scriptures:
David Wilkerson explains here- http://www.tscpulpitseries.org/engli.../ts950109.html
Specifically this is exactly stated this way in Haggai 2:9
https://biblehub.com/haggai/2-9.htm
Though I try not to have singular versus to support any conclusion. If one takes three random scriptures out of context it could be very bad. I use only parts of each scritpture but you will get the jest.
IE: And Judas went out and hanged himself
Go and do thou likewise
And whatsoever you do, do it heartily.
Never the less I beleive there will be both a great falling away- Revelations
And A great revival, in which the unconvinced, lost saints, and a scoffing world will participate

Re: End Time Revival? Prove it...
I think the end time revival is promised in Joel 2:28-32 which began on the day of Pentecost, the reign of the Catholic church suppressed it through the dark ages (a great falling away), and the fire was rekindled around the 1900's.
I think we can have an outpouring of the Spirit when we seek God with prayer, fasting, and witnessing.
It's probably not helpful when we think we are waiting on God, He redeemed us with his death, burial and resurrection, maybe He is now waiting on us.
Esaias, you mentioned something in the Historicist Thread about Revival during Revelation 11.

Re: End Time Revival? Prove it...
Revival in the end times? Sure.
The “endtime revival” so many big name evangelists are prophesying about? Nope.

Re: End Time Revival? Prove it...
Yes I believe the end time before the rapture will be the mightiest move of God known to mankind. I believe simultaneously there will be a mighty falling away.
In order for Jesus to come for THIS kind of Church there must be a revival.
Ephesians 5:25-27
25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
The Churches today are far from this. Most dont even have the foundation right. How can we go onto perfection without the foundation in place?
