Two Prayer Requests
Two prayer requests for my AFF friends to help me with.
First tomorrow morning I am having a heart test to see what is going on with my heart. They believe I either have a leaky heart valve or a stiff heart valve (of the two the leaky option is better). Pray for a good report.
The past couple of years I have been experiencing health issues that frankly I did not expect to face for at least another 10 years. This year has been particularly challenging and painful.
Secondly, last week I found out that unless a miracle happens the quality of my work life is going to change drastically the beginning of next year. My pay will remain the same but I will go from doing something that I really enjoy to a portfolio that will be incredibly stressful and unpleasant. This has nothing to do with my work performance as I just received the highest rating you can receive in my large company but is due to some reorganization. This came out of left field and was a total shock to me when I found out last week. Help me pray for the miracle that will keep me doing what I do now unless of course it is the Lords will that it change.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
