Happy Birthday, President Reagan
President Ronald Reagan would have been 104 today. He was the last great American President, and it is unlikely there will ever be another like him.

Re: Happy Birthday, President Reagan
Reagan was great. He was a true supporter of poor oppressed freedom fighters in Afghanistan, shipped really kool stuff like "insecticide precursors" to the oppressed Iraqis to use on those troublesome Kurds, and arranged shipment of arms to the Iranians. He left 2 decades of gifts for us to enjoy. It only took a measly 2 full scale wars to clean up behind Reagan. May this true American Hero rest in peace! He represents what all good conservative christians stand for.........spray and pray and let God sort it all out.
Hopefully those who follow him will use better judgement because I am not sure the country can afford to clean up behind another president like him.

Wii - I assume you would approve of the support of the Afghanistan civilians when they were fighting against the Russians. Not true?
Please give me a link to the accusation of the insecticide precursors. The State Department under Reagan even caught and halted these from being shipped out.
"Iran-Contra" - as you probably know was an effort to open up diplomatic talks with the Iranians to obtain their help in releasing some hostages in Lebanon. Which led to a swap of hostages for arms.
Comments?

I was celebrating these achievements.
Insecticide precurser docs, the raw ones, are in the Islam vs C thread. Why dont you first research it then float the theory that it never happened. Thats a better idea.
You ever seen me post something I didnt read myself?

On November 1, 1983, a full month before Mr Rumsfeld's visit to Baghdad, Secretary of State George Shultz was officially informed that the CIA had discovered Iraqi troops were resorting to 'almost daily use of chemical weapons' against the Iranians.
Nevertheless, Mr Rumsfeld arranged for the Iraqis to receive billions of pounds in loans to buy weapons and CIA Director William Casey used a Chilean front company to supply Iraq with cluster bombs.
According to the Washington Post, a Senate committee investigating the relationship between the US and Iraq discovered that in the mid-1980s - following the Rumsfeld visit - dozens of biological agents were shipped to Iraq under licence from the Commerce Department.
They included anthrax, subsequently identified by the Pentagon as a key component of the Iraqi biological warfare programme.
The newspaper says: 'The Commerce Department also approved the export of insecticides to Iraq, despite widespread suspicions that they were being used for chemical warfare.'
You do know that there is a senate report on this right? Keep googling! LOOOL.....Reagan was a great man!
