Interesting that they always attribute comets as the source of water on the earth and possibly the moon when the opposite is more likely. The water in space came from the earth when this subsurface source literally exploded.

Now that is an interesting article in regards to the flood. Skeptics have always claimed that there was not enough water to cover the tops of the mountains, as the Scriptures claim, yet one of the authors said that we need to be grateful it is there otherwise only the tops of the mountains would be sticking out of the earth.

Very interesting. I need to gather more info on this article.

I do believe that pre flood the physical earth was shaped different than it is now.

Also that the atmosphere was different then then now. Higher oxygen content more of a greenhouse atmosphere.

This article though, it is interesting from a water volume perspective.

ya, huh? that's why i posted it--and i'm guessing that "only the tops of the mountains sticking out" is prolly just an attempt to avert comparisons with Scripture...
