The World Doesn't Buy Your Explanations
Topic came up at work about television. I mention the denomination our church belongs to doesn't allow television, but allows the internet. I attempted the Larry Booker explanation and was shot out of the water rather quickly by those pagans. Everyone person in that conversation agreed the internet is more dangerous than television. Not one of those heathen thought the anti-tv/pro-internet made sense.

That TV1a could not debate himself out of a paper bag no matter how well the facts are in his favor?

The world, by and large, doesn't buy the New Birth message either.
Your point?

It seems that your statement would mean the "world" (since in the first post said internet was worse than TV) doesn't buy that TV is worse than the internet.
My question to you is this.....do you believe that the internet is worse than TV?

I think they are both good - or both bad. Much like books and magazines. I don't think everyone needs or should have both, but it is undeniable that both can be used to the glory of God... or not.
The real issue is our conduct as Christians should not change whether we go, do, have or have not.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths
Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
