From the Flames
And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire.
As the Revelation breaks dawn upon us; it may be high time we overlay her wonderful portraits, to the realities of present day. Global realities and trends…our realities. For all of history, life was never the world community it is today.
In this last book of my Lord, a false muslim religion should be a dominant figure on the landscape. Sodomy, and her daughter smut, have become pervasive. Drugs, mass communication, the internet, our enhanced knowledge of the cosmos…these all have their place, in the end of times events of Revelation.
For by now, the tares are fully mingled with the wheat. The birds of the air, fully lodged in the tree of the kingdom of heaven. Now is the time, of this great book.
The world powers of our day, are; America, Russia, and China. They should also dominate the landscape of Revelation. As should the apple of His eye: Israel. If we will locate these largest of landmarks…as they cross paths with my Lord and his church…we may find the smaller details, fill themselves in.
The whole word of God is required reading, if one is to understand Revelation. So too, are the headlines; as the world events of our day unfold. Yet, as these two don one another’s clothing, the fit cannot be forced. It must be as perfectly tailored as his creation, and his purpose.
Now, is the most wonderful of times to be alive…to be redeemed…and to be in attendance of these mighty events. And if it be a breath-taking day for a man rooted in his Lord, then how daunting a moment, for those lost without God. Much too late now, for the years of growth and pruning that the Revelation demands. Repentance still available; but having missed a life more abundant, and scarcely pulled from the flames. The storm of global events are a fog of mystery to him, even as they engulf his world.
Television and telephone have made our world unique…an island in history…and a strict requirement, to fit the Revelation imagery. Automation has changed the world, and evolved our society to this moment. Only the prophets of God have imagined this day. And now, their visions are unsealed for the few with eyes to see, and ears to hear.
It almost takes sitting ‘neath a myrtle…back in the days of old…to contemplate these weighty matters. Removed, as it were, from this time, to a simpler one. Standing apart from the noisome madness, as the whole of humanity before us lived. There, by the word of God and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, our focus sharpens, and the picture becomes clear. Still, of course, through a glass darkly…but through indeed, to all that this mortality is able to behold.
In these hushed pages…as in no other…both worlds are chronicled for seven years. The physical and the spiritual, sharing the very same stage. A category 5 hurricane…from within the eye of the storm…with its funnel touching heaven and earth. The veil is removed in this book, to show us clearly the powers in play. And at the victory end, a gasping breath of eternity to see.
