Dave Bernard addresses beards

I heard from a reliable source yesterday that Br. Bernard addressed the issue of facial hair on men at a recent symposium.

I don't have a direct quote. Only that he said we (the UPCI) have been all wrong on the issue and it needs to to stop.

In our ranks, isn't this like the pope saying, it's OK now?

If this is true ... he can give up any aspirations of being the next Supt ... especially if the UC's win out in Sept.

You mean it's taken him all these years to come to THAT conclusion?

Wow......that certainly gives me a warm fuzzy feeling towards his scholarship!

He is right if this was said. I personally think that beards are gross looking. However, that is a far cry from having anything to do with right or wrong.

Funny how ya'll are all about being au naturale...unless some woman decides to leave hair on her LEGS (since the Creator put it there in the first place!)

the parallel only exists if the preacher puts you in hell if you let grow what God give you!

I think I would be tempted to violate Bro. Blume's word of wisdom in the post above if my wife felt sanctified and holy in her hairiness!
