Apostolic Preachers
I was wondering today who would be the most prominent modern day Apostolic Preacher. Who first pops into your mind when you think of the Apostolic Movement within the last century.

My pastor. Doesn't everyone feel like that?

Re: Apostolic Preachers
KC, you realize that you do not ask and easy question. I have a few considerations. Bro. Johnny Godair, Bro. Anthony Mangun, Bro. D.K. Bernard, Bro. Nathaniel Wilson, or perhaps Bro. Kenneth Haney. I would say that these are perhaps the most within the last few years.
Perhaps Bro. L.E. Westburg would have to be listed due to his very strong influence in Apostolic circles.

That would be limiting "Apostolic" to "Oneness Pentecostals"
For many years "Apostolic" meant those who believed in the gifts of the Spirit, sort of like "Charismatic" does today. Organizations and fellowships called themselves Apostolic for years before the "New Issue" came up and many of us still use the term "Apostolic" to include those who do not verbalize the name "Jesus" with or without titles such as "Lord" and/or "Christ" in the ritual of water baptism.

Re: Apostolic Preachers
to be "Apostolic in doctrine" or "like the Apostles in Doctrine" is to be "Oneness Pentecostal".

Unfortunately, Sam does not view the Oneness Pentecostal/Apostolic message to be the entire truth. That is why he made that statement. I named those whose lifetime have spanned the gap between our founders and the modern day.

Re: Apostolic Preachers
In the spirit of this thread, I would think the preachers in this video are prominent in the oneness pentecostal world...

None of those Preachers remind me of Peter, Paul, James or John. Dressed up in suits and ties in a formalistic setting where plenty of amens abound. Its easy to preach "hot sermons" and get amens. My prayer is for YHWH to raise up men who follow the truth wherever it leads.
