How Many AFF'ers Live Near My Road Trip?

The family and I are planning a trip to Conyers GA in a few weeks (Still in the maybe, but hope so stage)

We will be passing through...Monroe LA, Vicksburg MS, Jackson MS, Meridian MS, Tuscaloosa AL, Birmingham AL & Atlanta GA on our way there.

How many AFFers are along those lines?

We will be on a road trip and probably wouldn't have a whole lot of time on our hands but maybe we could meet somewhere and visit a while over a nice glass of iced tea.

Yes sir... thus far I have never had the privilege of stepping even one foot into the great state of Tennessee.

Perhaps sometime soon.

Wouldn't this be considered "the Heart of Dixie" tour?

No better place to be is there?

This is the "I-20 from here to Et-Lanta" tour.

I'm guessing Shreveport, LA is on that path, too? I wouldn't blame you if you bypassed it, though.

Went to High School in Natchitoches so for shopping had to drive either 50 miles to Alexandria or 70 miles to Shreveport!

Shreveport is a nice place to "be from"!!!!!

A couple of years ago my son and I were passing through Shreveport and he needed a restroom break. I exited when I saw a McDonalds sign. He was berating me for where I exited because all of the stores, etc were all so run down and looked like a slum.

Then when we went in the McDonalds he started laughing because it was the absolute nicest McDonalds we had ever been in. It had custom marble like tile, giant flat screen TV's mounted on the wall, and a little lounge area with a couple of nice contemporary chairs.

Naw.... We will be starting out East of Shreveport.

We make Shreveport trips all the time though... We will have to plan to get together one day when we are headed that direction.

My wife (Darty) actually works east of Bossier.
