Re: Old Time Pentecost
On one hand no beard or moustache. Long sleeves and no watch. No trimming hair for women or wearing pants.
On the other hand a hard praying and devout people.

Re: Old Time Pentecost
I see modesty and holiness both inside and out. I see ladies with hairstyles that are not strange or bizzare. I see men with descent haircuts. I see people who are enthusiastic about what God has done for them, but at the same time settled spiritually so that you look at them and think of immovable mountains. People who enjoy talking about the things of God, but who are also real enough that you will see them on horses (Mom, Sis. Ballestero, Sis. Freeman), cannoeing, white water rafting, or other vacations like that.

Re: Old Time Pentecost
I see people going to the church to pray most days for 30 to 40 minutes till something breaks in the Spirit realm (one mind/one accord), annointed preaching that bring repentances in the hearts of saints (a prophet Nathan saying "you are the man"), all resulting in people coming in off the streets and being filled with the Spirit of God, lives changed, a city being changed.
I saw this happen 20 years ago, and I'm seeing it begining to happen yet again.

Re: Old Time Pentecost
I am 22 and been in this movement for about 5 years. Not real long but long enough to have a few observations. When I first came into this we were your typical UPCI church. In the last few years things have been changing. It seems as though the Spirit is raising the standard of prayer and holiness in many circles. Yes, some are letting down, but God is raising up an army. I believe that. I have sat and talked with other young men my age, and have heard so much about a restoration of Old Time Pentecost. A desire for deeper prayer, deeper consecration, and deeper moves of God. Young men my age are being impacted by people such as Verbal Bean, James Kilgore, Andrew Urshan, G. T. Haywood. We want more! We want Old Time Pentecost! In the last couple of years I have seen tremendous things happen in our church. Saints getting rid of TV sets, wedding rings, movies and anything else that resembles the world. I've seen a burden of prayer come upon my pastor and our church so that an hour before service you can't normally go anywhere in the building without hearing someone calling on God in prayer. Gradually the annointing has increased and intensified. And our church has grown!
I went to a UPCI event the other day for the first time in probably 3 years. Now I'm not bashing or throwing stones, but I was astounded at the difference. The difference in the atmosphere, in the worship, in annointing. It wasn't Old Time Pentecost. There was no travail, no tears, no shouting. Old Time Pentecost was mocked on a couple of occasions. God has put a burden in my heart for MORE and for the REAL. For those that will seek Him, that will crave Him, I really believe He is doing something spectacular in this last hour.

Glad you are happy Bro. Keep your eyes on Jesus and make your loyalty toward him the main thing. Stay in the scriptures daily. As you grow in grace and knowledge of him be willing to change as you are led by the Spirit.

Awesome testimony! Keep it real and keep going the way you are going!

How about the internet? Shiny buttons on women's clothes? Open toed shoes (women)? Short sleeve shirts (men)?
Just where does so-called holiness end and the 'world' begin?

I guess you would need to ask the Spirit of God, I don't see anywhere that this change has been preached.
