Re: 666, I mean, 999 plan, what is it?

I put out some information on Cain's plan on another thread, but seeing no one was going to listen, I sat back to watch it fall apart, which it has done.

It was erroneously reported that Paul Ryan supported the plan. His words were that he supported any ideas put on the table for debate. He was not endorsing Cain's plan.

Cain has nothing but his 9-9-9 plan which imploded on him in last night's debate. The Tax Policy Center's analysis, yesterday, showed that it would raise taxes on 84% of US households.

Glad to see Mitt Romney put off his Rhino game in last night's debate.

Exaclty !

There are politicians (presidents) who "specialize" in areas of politics. Sometimes we happen to have the right guy in office at the time the country needs his special skills. Most often we don't. 10 years ago or even 10 years from now I probably would never vote for Cain. But right now our country needs an economist in office.

As with most candidates "ideas" while campaigning, I don't think 999 will see the light of day. So like most presidents he would have to come up with something that will pass the Congress. Whatever that may be, it needs to come from an experienced economist.

On a side note, it does bother me that he would take office with no experience on how to handle the growing threat from the Middle East.

The economists are the problem. Not the solution.

there are different economic theories from Adam Smith to Karl Marx, so you would have to have to right economist to fix the problem.

The post I responded to mentioned economists and so my post was in refernce to economists. That is different from economic theory.

The problem I have with economists these days is that most of them are, on one level or another, students/proponents and forwarders of the Keynesian economic theory. That's why economists don't have the answer IMO.

My statement stands that economists are the problem... not the solution. But the reason I say that beckons to your comment... ie... they work on bad economic theory.

Research the term "Illuminati."

While I'm not necessarily a conspiracy theorist (more of a reasonable skeptic), what little I've read about the Illuminati tends to make sense...
