Your thoughts on the Shoe Auction @ Conference
I was not able to attend last nite's service but I understand a shoe auction took place in which tens of thousands of dollars were raised by auctioning the shoes of men like Billy Cole and JT Pugh and others?
Was this planned or impromptu?
I heard it was "spur of the moment"?
I heard Cole's nephew, Jack Cunningham, put down several grand for Cole's shoes?
And Pugh's shoes garnered at least. 10k?
Can anyone confirm? Your thoughts?

some may call them "nice momentos" Catholic call them "relics". Next we'll have people say the see the face of Jesus in a grill cheese sandwich.

Re: Your thoughts on the Shoe Auction @ Conferenc
I remember an evangelist who showed off a pair of shoes he wore in the prayer room of a church pastored by a prominent UPCer. He said he would never throw them out because they had "walked where angels walked..."

Dan, if you can raise money for a foundation that sponsers Planned Parenthood, I see no problem in raising money in this way for Home Missions, to build churches in unchurched cities. Just MHO!
