Church Dedication Weekend

We are having our dedication services for our new church this weekend. Friday night and Saturday morning Bishop Joseph Garlington will be speaking, and then Bro. L.H. Hardwick will do the actual dedication on Sunday. The Goldsberry's came in Wednesday, Ashley & Adam flew in last night, the Butler's and Hardwicks are coming today. And lots of other friends and pastors are coming tomorrow, (including a few UPC - but don't tell). I think Renda is coming over tomorrow!! It will be a fun weekend, and I'm believing God to do some powerful things. The Bishop is one of my absolute favorite speakers in the whole world and of course, Bro. Hardwick is just the finest Christian man that I know.

Anyone who is in the area is invited. 7 pm Friday, 9:30 am Saturday, and 9 and 11 on Sunday.

I was planning on coming tonight, but it might make more sense to come tomorrow - - I wouldn't be as rushed and then have to drive home late tonight.

I'll check to see what Cindy B is doing - if she's going to be there tomorrow, I might just do that.

Oh how much I wish we could be there Sherri! I know you all will have an awesome time and congratulations to you and and Bishop! We love you both!

Well, guess who showed up last night and surprised me totally? The Atlanta Bishop!! I had never met him, so I was excited to meet another AFFer. We had pastors here from Texas, Illinois, Georgia, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Arizona, and I can't even think where else. It was awesome! After service, we had an Italian dinner in the back for all pastors/families and there were about a hundred people there. It was such a great night!

Did he have facial hair?
Did he have on his "backward collar"?
Did he take an offering?
Was he just there for the food?

Just Kidding.

We haven't heard much from AB on here lately.
Hope he's doing well.

He is active on Facebook and is one of my friends there.

And, I got to meet AB today!

Eddie & Sherri's church is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Enjoyed the service today with Bishop Garlington! It was my first time to hear him and he was awesome!

After service today the church had food for the pastors (and special friends), then we went to the Cupples house to visit some more. What a great time with old friends, meeting their children and spending time with them all. Then around 21 of us went to eat at Dumplins for dinner - - - - unreal!!!

Just made it back home - so glad to have friends from Bible school days!
