Tory, Tory, Tory
A win for the Conservatives of the United Kingdom of England, Scotland and Wales as David Cameron accepts the powdered wig once worn by Margaret the Great and her key to number 10.
Ever since the diplomacy of GWB and Condi Rice we have seen a steady move among our allies toward conservationism and better ties with the U.S. The debacle of the Clinton era that led to such disasters as the German/French refusal to join the war on terror and Spain's withdrawal from the same has been put behind us.
France has been led by the closest thing they have to a conservative ever since the French gave their libs a "thumbs down" for scorning the U.S. Merkel in Germany, Netanyahu in Israel, the "Center-Right" party of Spain, the list goes on.
The move away from the double failures of socialism and appeasement took a little while to get into gear around the globe. Now we just have to do our part this fall to keep in step with the rising tide of freedom.
