Scriptures proves no shorts??
Rev 1:13
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
KJV
Jesus is picture with a garment down to his feet, could this be used to teach against shorts?
I've also read where because the priest only showed his feet.hands and face when going into the holy place, we should to only show that much.
whta thinketh thou?

Could be used to prove no shorts... OR could be used to prove that garments down to the foot are about as rare as golden girdles.

This is actually one scripture the stay covered head to foot crowd can actually use. It's better than some of the other ones they stretch to fit what they think.

Scripture shows Jesus died by crucifixion does this mean you can't die of a heart attack?
Jesus ate fish, can you use that to teach against eating beef?

Or does it mean Jesus only ate fish? Or does it mean Jesus only wore golden girdles....or does it mean Jesus only walked on water, never on dry ground...anyone not notice how this is a logical fallacy?
Did Jesus have a beard?
You think he ever bathed? Just because Jesus is pictured in one verse dressed a certain way is not a reason to assume that is how he always appeared
Maybe we need to all wear towels
Joh 13:3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and went to God,
Joh 13:4 He rose up from supper and laid aside His garments. And He took a towel and girded Himself.
Joh 13:5 After that He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.

It means He was dressed for a ceremonial occasion. Notice that Jesus is not described in the Gospels in this type of outfit. His dress is remarkable because of the remarkable occasion.
For purposes of having a realistic example to follow I would recommend the "every day" Jesus and his Apostles from the Gospels and Acts.
Of course, as this includes skinny dipping with your buds ( John 21:7) I think there should be some latitude. For example- if you go fishing in my boat you had better keep your clothes on while in the boat. Don't fish naked and then put on your clothes to jump in the water like Peter did.

So why not obey the whole scripture and require golden girdles too?
