Pit Bull vs. Porcupine
A pit bull was in his backyard in southern California , minding his own business ... until this porcupine invaded his territory. The brave (but not very smart) pit bull immediately challenged the porcupine. Bad decision! The porcupine won this short contest.
A vet sedated the dog, and then removed a total of 1,347 quills. The dog survived.

OMW, how horrible, poor thing.

Sometimes defense is the greatest offense.
There is a saying that relates to my family coat of arms, and the hedgehog emblem on its shield: "The cunning fox knows many things, but the hedgehog knows one big thing!"

Re: Pit Bull vs. Porcupine
Having seen what pitbulls can do to babies - I think the porcupine made a wise choice!

My daughter has a pit bull.
If they are pure bred and you take time with them while they are puppies, you won't have a problem with them. The mixed breeds are the danger.

I hate pitbulls with a passion. Our next door neighbor has an evil pitbull that will continously growl at you the whole time you are in the back yard. If you are so much as 4 feet away from the fence, he will try to jump over the fence. He is so big he probably could get over it, he just hasn't figured this out yet. I was out there one night, and he was trying to dig under the fence to get to my son!!!!! It's sad that I can't let Kristian enjoy his own back yard.
We can't even buy our son a puppy cause the pit would kill it.
One of these days I'm gonna buy a pound of chocolate..........

Re: Pit Bull vs. Porcupine
I am not fond of pits, but I wouldn't wish this on any animal. That is unless it was coming after me. In that case I would consider it a divine intervention.
