Re: Why wont they say it

The media leans left so they're unsure how to proceed....

I think they are being very careful about reporting this incident for good reason. I do not think it would take much to set off a major act of terror or to stir up some of the fringe groups in the US to retaliate against Islamics. Remember Oklahoma City?

You might have a point.

Since they "glory" in their sacrifice, they might not want to give much air time to it.

However, it's not kept them from doing it before.

There has been a rather steady stream of reports the last few days about "al Qaeda links" and some "firebrand Imam" being implicated in some way.

It could be that much of the media were like us and we were all kind of blindsided by this event.

And then again, how would you like to be the FBI guy who was patiently gathering data on this Major's email and cell phone calls in direct disobedience to the "New Guidelines" handed down last January for how such investigations were to be conducted? You'd want to be quiet about what you had found.

Most of the stuff about the Major's compromising communications though, seem to have been gathered before January 20, 2009, when the Big O took over and later appointed his bud Eric Holder Attorney General. And then the wacky Iraqi symp "slips through the cracks."
