You are supposed to keep silent in church. That means you cannot teach or preach but it does mean that you can pray, testify, prophesy or sing. So, if you are a called woman preacher, you have to testify for 45 minutes to get it out of your system. At least if you attend Steve Epley's church.

Does keeping silent in the church really only refer to preaching. How do you get that?

No. If you read further, it is referring to a woman asking her husband questions in church. I don't think it has anything to do with preaching or the Bible wouldn't condone women prophesying.

Sorry. I missed your reference to Galatians. I haven't used this verse personally in an effort to prove women can preach. It is not talking about preaching but being in Christ Jesus and how we are all equal in him. Obviously, being a Christian does not make us all supervisors or kings or preachers. It does make us all Christians. I think there are better verses to use to show that women can preach.
