Article on McCain's selection process for VP

Saw this, it is a very interesting read. It is adapted from an upcoming book on the 2008 election, "The Battle for America 2008: The Story of an Extraordinary Election".

Seems to be pretty unbiased, just giving us some insights from the party's decision making process and inner workings. Thought some of you would like to read it. It is a 5 part article, so I'll just give the link instead of copying it in the post:

There is no such thing as and unbiased view of Sarah Palin.

Actually there was a short book I read on her which was written before her selection. It was fair and short. It had a few details wrong.

I read this article when it came out. The exact same writer got nasty writing about her when it became popular to be nasty.

This one seems to be fairly unbiased.

http://platform.gop.com/2008Platform.pdf

Palin had no part in writing this platform She fits it better than McCain did.

It is great to write a job desciption and then recruit someone to fill it.
