The week that was.........
My husband's oldest brother was in a bad car accident Sun afternoon near Reno, NV. His sister in law died in this accident. His brother is still in the hospital recovering from his injuries.
After work on Tuesday as my husband drove to meet me he was in a car accident. He's ok, but said he'll probably need to visit his chiropractor.
The car had to be towed to a body shop. Major front end damage and both air bags deployed. The decision hasn't been given yet on repair or if it's totaled.
Buying another car isn't really on our agenda.

The insurance company has totaled the car. Now to find a good used car.

We haven't had any accidents on this scale before.
What a surprise!
We received several letters from attorneys and chiropractors. I had no idea.
Is this the norm?

Just did an internet search for our area. Rather depressing. The goal is to use the insurance check and not have payments.
I've only made 17 pmts on my 2007 500, so there are many more pmts to go.
My husband was driving my previous car. He hates car pmts and I don't like driving old cars.
We both need a car for work and our jobs are past the local bus service area.

The better half found a used vehicle but he did have to add a little to the ins check.
