Do you think Two Church services a month is enough?

Do you think Two services a Month would suffice?

Yes. That is about how often I go to church, so I give that amount a hearty two-thumbs up

I doubt if two services a week is enough. Maybe I just need more church? I am in at least bare minimum of 4 services of week.

Church has turned into a very busy place that requires and demands too much time.

Pastors want to keep you saved by keeping you to busy to think.

To be honest, if I enjoyed church, I probably would want to go more often. But I see it more as a duty or a chore than any real enjoyment. I can't stand to see the focus on programs and fund-raisers and all that junk. I am just not interested in that. Call me selfish if you want (you would certainly not be the first).

Coop,

This may have been said but it bears repeating if it has been said.

I may be terribly wrong, but I would guess that you have never really worn a yoke or you would not see the trivialities you often reference as yokes.

As a man who has been truly yoked and whipped and enslaved, I see the things you identify as yokes as a verdant pasture with peaceful babbling brooks that bring peace and soothing to my once burdened and yoked soul!

Brother, I would never encourage anyone to go into the depths of sin that I plumbed in my backslidden days, but I do think a season of real bondage would do some of you whiners a world of good!

You remind of my kids who think they have it rough when Dad only pays 95% of their living expenses and all their bills instead of 100%!

It truly is sad that you see these petty issues through such a jaundiced eye of selfishness!

When we do not go to church for some reason, I miss being there. We missed about a week and a half of services just a short while ago, and it felt so good to be back at church.

I am glad I have always loved church and it has never been a burden to go. My schedule-life-habits revolve around church and not me. Always has always will. It is MY CHIEF joy.
