Luke Levine preached us into a frenzy at Atlanta West Pentecostal Church on yesterday. WE HAD CRAZY CHURCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who is this cat??????? Yall know I am new to the UPCI so uh, what church does he come out of? Is he a full time evangelist? When I tell you that man can PREACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4+ souls were baptised in Jesus Name after that message. It was awesome. So give me info on this guy.

On his website there's an referral page and Darrell has an endorsement. I trust Darrell's opinion (went the JCM with him).

SO, Praisehymn, are you attending ATLA West now?? You've been wanting to join the UPC for a long time

Yes, I've been going on a regular basis however prior to joining I am still learning the culture of the UPCI. For instance, it appears that everyone crowds over one person when they are at the altar (this is not so where I come from.....we form lines and just one person prays over the soul). Also, they dont formally dismiss church services nor "open the doors of the church" for membership. (where I come from, we litterally have a dismissal and if souls are still at the altar, we just dont bother them...those that want to leave LEAVE and those that are staying just stay...we also formally open the doors of the church for membership after the preached Word and baptisms). So I am still feeling my way through this whole thing....

I tell you one thing (lol) I've already taken my mustache down to a thin line

and shaved off most of my chin hairs....I guess you can say its neatly groomed.......

but thats another topic.

Luke Levine is great(IMO). He preached at our youth rally about 1 month ago, preached: Get a relationship with Jesus Christ for yourself, don't try to just live off your parents relationship with him." Much needed lesson IMO
He also took one of our members on a missions trip to Hondures about 1-2 yr's ago.

I went to Gateway with Luke...we had some good times...he is a great preacher and a great all around guy!

I grew up with Luke - he's come a long ways from back then. Good to see he's doing well.
