Re: How obese is your state?

I did notice a lot more obese people in the south
they do have the best food though lol
I was in Detroit a few years ago for a conference and
could not believe how many morbidly obese people there
were. I was told that even in the summer there is often a
lot of rain and of course the winters are long and cold so
people are indoors a lot.
CA. is pretty fit especially in the cities. L.A is is a body image
city. SF has a lot of hills and the people walk a lot. There's a 'lot
of outdoor recreation, hiking and vanity out here

Mark, do they fry candy bars in CA? To me that is just wrong.

I saw it on Food Network, I think it was Paula Deen's show, and some celebrity from LA was doing it.

I've heard that they have fried Snickers at our annual fair--but I've never seen or tried one.

Sonic had these little fried cheesecake bites on their menu--I tried them, and only took one bite. They were TERRIBLE!!! UGH!!! The richness of cheesecake needs to be offset with something tart, adding fried breading on top makes it unbearably rich and sweet and FAT!

Well, anyway, they were just bad. I would break the tart rule for any type of cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory.
