My least favorite is my NIV, my favorite is a toss up between my Peoples Parallel which has the KJV and the NLT, the NLT is my favorite translation. My other favorite is I have a Greek/Hebrew Study Bible that has a small lexicon and Strong’s definitions for key words.

I rarely pick up my NIV anymore unless I want to use the concordance. I mostly read the Message because you can actually sit down and read it. Most of the young folks my age seem to like the Message too.
I have a problem with the more dynamic translations. I prefer the ESV. It has the essentially literal philosophy and accuracy of the NASB and retains the beauty of the KJV. I also use many other translations along with the Bibleworks software.

I'm not familiar with ESV?
I use many translations along with Bibleworks software as well.
