How many Southerners are on the Forum?
Hi, i'm from the south, are there lots of members from the deep south on this forum?
We still say Yes Mam and No Sir to our elders although we are now elders ourselves, and lets not forget please and thank you. Anyone else adhere to these old time tradition?
We drink Iced Tea and hot coffee, and love a good old pone of cornbread.

It's my opinion that Texans have to be examined on a case by case basis. MAYBE east texas, the deep piney woods area would qualify...maybe. Ask them to identify what times one eats dinner and supper.. True southerners will answer correctly. Is 'yall' commonly used in sentences? Are front porches and rocking chairs an important part of life?
Stuff like that.
