Rush Limbaugh said about the same thing today talking about power relationships with staff and whats beyond the limits of 'ok' even in the professional world.

Actually I admire Rush for being honest about becoming addicted to pain killers to his national audience, taking 100% responsiblity for it, going to rehab, and staying clean.
If you've ever dealt with someone who got over a accident and was left with a addiction to Oxycotin you'd understand its not a recreational thing in that context, its a highly addictive medicine thats just as powerful as heroin and just as addictive.

Didn't Dave do the same thing by confessing his sin publicly and stopping a blackmailer? It was a decent and smart move.

I don't watch Dave Letterman or the other late night stuff.
For a while I was watching the early parts of the Jay Leno late night show like his monologue, Jay walking, and the stuff about the goofy headlines and ads.
If you are complaining or commenting about Letterman's show, be sure to make the choice in "CHOOSE A CBS CATEGORY" of LATE NIGHT- "The Late Night Show with David Letterman"...Type your complaint or comment and hit Submit.
Maybe the "Fire David Letterman" movement should be revived...Or did it ever die? I don't watch him either but I made myself watch a clip of last night's show on a news website. The man should be given his "walking orders"...lol

1. MikeinAR - on one hand you bash Limbaugh for his abuse of pills --- which he came clean on and admitted his use of on his radio program. I know he did, because I was a listener back then and heard it. On the other hand you defend Letterman for his coming clean and suggest Clinton should have done the same.
Mike, if it works for one, it should work for everyone. You show your bias when you continually bash conservatives for their admitted mistakes, but cover up for liberals admitted mistakes.
I don't think anyone's covering up anything Letterman did. He admitted to it on National TV.
I mentioned Limbaugh only because, according to Apocrypha's post, he was criticizing Letterman. That seems hypocritical coming from a guy who was arrested on criminal drug fraud charges.
