Anthony Mangun Just Said the "T" word!

Anthony mangun just said something like "televison is a wonderful way to reach people" while welcoming people to the webcast and talking about the effectiveness of it.

I have heard UPC folks use the terms "video" and "webcast" before in describing what they do but this is the first time I have heard it actually called "television".

Oh, Wow!!!
The "T" word.

Why didn't he call it a monitor and be PC (Politically (or Pentecostally) Correct)?

There was a while when you could get Internet with a TV and now you can get TV with the Internet.

The UCs say it will be hypocritical to advertise ON TV and yet preach against TV. But then they better start taking a stand against Internet since it will be hypocritical to have Internet and yet preach against TV.

BTW do they preach against porn? I wonder why it's ok to have Internet and yet preach against porn? Why would it not be ok then to have TV or advertise on TV and still preach against watching it or spending too much time at least?

TV is here to stay. Might as well saddle up that particular horse and get ready to ride.

TV is also available now on cell phones.

There are still many churches that doesn't have TV. There will will always be men of God who will stand against TV and have a church without it. Not every one will go the way of the world.

Wholehearted.......

Compared to what many of the oldtimers believed and the kind of convictions they held and the lifestyle many of them lived even many of the super holy TV-less churches have let down to a large extent comparatively speaking.

The men of God who are standing against TV are getting less and less and that's a fact. TV is already in the church and has been for quite a while now. And the truth is that TV-less churches have all the same problems and so do the saints in those churches that churches which no longer make having a television huge matter of holiness or salvation.
