PO, I'll make you a guarantee on something. If the McCain campaign starts brandishing this around as some sort of great endorsement, they'll lose another 5% in the polls.
I think most American's could careless what most CEO's in this country want right now given the last month. The majority of us think that bad decisions by CEO's have been disastrous for this country.
I'm not surprised that a guy who's looking to give corporate tax cuts out, has there support though.

They are responsible for a lot of American jobs. Did you think they would go away? Yes, they lay them off also. That won't go away either. CEO's are still part of a capitalist system. That's what I support.
I believe we have more confidence in McCain handling mismanagement being he co-sponsored a bill trying to do something about Freddie and Fannie.
I don't think any of the candidates is perfect, but I trust McCain on National Security, lower taxes, gun control and he did step up on the mortgage crises - This is the first strong initiative from either candidate to stabilize housing prices. The problems we face can only be repaired once price floors are established in each local housing market. By keeping homeowners in place and establishing floor prices the private market should rapidly respond. .
The Tax Foundation - The 2001 and 2003 Tax Relief: The Benefit of Lower Tax Rates
Summary Recent research on President Bush's tax relief in 2001 and 2003 has found that the lower tax rates induced taxpayers to report more taxable income. In particular, the reduction in the top two tax rates induced taxpayers to report more taxable income—an increase in the size of the tax base—to such an extent that this positive behavioral response likely offset roughly 25 percent to 40 percent of the static revenue loss of lowering the top two tax rates. This research illustrates that, while the lower tax rates have not paid for themselves, they do provide important economic benefits and can expand the tax base to such an extent that they cost the federal government substantially less revenue than the casual observer might think. Moreover, this research may provide valuable insights into the harmful effects of high tax rates as the Presidential candidates' tax plans are evaluated.
The Presidential candidates have proposed comprehensive tax plans that reshape tax policy in important ways. The two candidates have put forward two very different visions, with Senator Obama's tax plan emphasizing redistribution and Senator McCain's tax plan focusing more on economic growth. A perhaps neglected aspect of their tax plans is how they alter effective marginal tax rates, the amount of tax that people pay out of their last dollar of income.
* Senator McCain's tax plan also changes marginal tax rates. His proposal to replace the exclusion for employer-based health insurance with a new health tax credit boosts taxpayers' taxable incomes by their health insurance premiums which generally pushes taxpayers into higher tax brackets, but not to as great an extent as Senator Obama's tax plan. http://www.taxfoundation.org/research/show/23724.html

You don't seem to understand economics any better than Obama, when you tax small corporation or even large corporations who do you think will pay those increases?
I am the CEO of a small corporation, gas goes up so do my prices, taxes go up so do my prices. Corporations don't pay taxes the public pays all the taxes in higher prices.
CEO's are the job makers in this country, if your company pays higher taxes, it lessen your opportunity for increases or promotion. The Democrats do not get it, their tax policies and government's overspending is the cause of jobs going overseas.
John McCain is the only candidate with a record of trying to hold government accountable. Obama's only experience is spending other people's money.

After the Bailout: Is Obama Depressing the Market?
How many investors, I wonder, buy into the theory of economist Peter Morici, hardly a conservative mouthpiece, who says, "Obama's tax and redistribute policies will not resurrect jobs, wages, or the price of stocks in American retirement accounts. Ordinary Americans who have to earn their livings outside the cosseted confines of Wall Street will be not much better off two years from now. In fact, Obama's policies may make economic conditions worse."
But in 1980, we chose to unleash the free market through lower taxes and less regulation. And the stock market boomed, as did the economy. In 2008, we may as a nation choose the opposite path by raising taxes on business, big and small, and on the financial markets through higher capital gains taxes. Also, regulation seems to be the new black. It's like that Seinfeld episode in which George decides to do everything the opposite. Should be an interesting experiment, America.

I understand just fine thanks. You should have done more research on Obama's tax plan. According to the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy center and other independent fact check organizations, 97% of small businesses would see no tax increase under Obama's proposed tax plan.
If millions of dollars in tax incentives to big corporations who in turn pad their pockets with your money is ok with you then fine. Personally, I'm less than excited.
If you don't like tax increases, then it's time to convince your party to stop spending $2 billion in Iraq every week. It's profound I know, but when the government spends money, the tax payers have to pay for that. http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2...in_debate.html

Obama defines small business as those with less than 200K income, sorry most small business with 15-30 employees are in the 250-500K income, so his plan will tax the very one's that are providing jobs, the 97% number is nonsense. I know several of these business owners and the state is already taxing them mercilessly, more from the feds will damage their ability to hire and give promotions.
Obama knows nothing about running a business for profit, he has been on the public dole all his life, spending other folks money.
Yes, the public pays for government spending, if the Demo's had supported victory in Iraq we could have been out before now. They are doing the same thing that the did with Vietnam, allowing politics to dictate the military action on the ground. I'm old school, defeat the enemy, rebuild the country and use their assets to pay for it. Germany and Japan as classic examples, the oil wells in Iraq should supply America until the war debt is paid.
Unfortunately the plans of man are many, but the purpose of God is what will prevail.

You're facts and incomes on most small businesses are incorrect as the link I provided proved. Believe what you want I guess.
I've heard it all now!! It's the Dem's fault that we aren't out of Iraq now.
You'll have to peddle that line to someone who doesn't know the truth. Things like Dick Cheney twisted arms at the CIA to get the intelligence he wanted and that failure Donald Rumsfeld didn't have adequate numbers of troops to invade Iraq despite warnings from Colin Powell and other generals.
The assertion that somehow the Dem's are responsible for the failure in Iraq is laughable considering it was a Republican President and defense secretary that received every blank check from Congress that they asked for in their war.

I am the president of a small corporation. We have to raise our prices when gas and other things go up, otherwise we couldn't survive.
