Smile Positively positive.

Philippians4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

This is my first time starting a thread.

What I'd like is a thread thats 100% positive with humor, inspiration and faith building.

Lets brag on Jesus.

We've recieved the revelation of who Jesus is and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. We have so much to be thankful for.

Your about as happy as you make up your mind to be.

Re: Positively positive.

Probably a good time for such a post. He's always worthy of being bragged on.

In the past the media has tryed to air only good, postive news, it has flopped. As the most blessed people in the world we should be able to keep this thread going for a little bit.
I have seen many miracles in my life. I had a broken wrist. My Mom, Sister-in-law and Brother instantly started praying for me. My hand was was very large from the swelling and I had a large gash on the side of it. I watched as they were praying in the Holy Ghost, the swelling in my wrist instantly go down in a matter of about 3 seconds. The gash was on my wrist and I said look, there will be large scar there to always help me remember this day. When I woke up the next morning, that gash was gone with no signs of a scar. The stripes that were laid on His back, were not only for our spiritual healing but for are physical healing. The Lord is still in the healing business. He is not a respector of persons. And no thing is out of His jurisdiction. I beleive its ok for Spirit filled people to be spiritual. Healings and miracles was the calling card of the Apostles. We don't seek after a sign but they do follow us. God bless.

Well..maybe this thread won't work. I guess thats not being positive. I just kind of need all positive stuff. So much negativity and stress in everyday life.

I trust its ok to be spiritual around here. God has been so, patient, kind, merciful to me. I am so thankful for the gift of the HG and the power of the blood. Which will never lose its power!! I will attempt in this life to give the Lord Jesus Christ all the praise that is due His name. What a price he paid for us on Calvary. And when He was on the cross, I was on HIs mind.

Just give it some time Bro Tim. A lot of the time people get caught up in ongoing conversations, but they'll get to snooping around eventually. By the way there are other rooms besides the fellowship hall that also have interesting spiritual discussion.

Talking Re: Positively positive.

Yeah Bro. when I first started posting on here I was sure that I would stay out of the arguments and stuff....but you just get sucked in sometimes. Lets face it....out in the "Real World" we arent nearly as transparent and argumentative with people as we are on here.I'm sure we arent all the contentious heathens we seem to be in person....hehe. In fact in person I HATE confrontation and arguments....in fact I hate arguing ANYWHERE....like I said you just get sucked in sometimes. But the GOOD thing is that I'm getting to see God perform some AWESOME changes in peoples lives. He still is in the business of setting the captives free!We can get so caught up in our perceived differences that we forget that we are all called to win souls and to reach for hurting and the lost.Gonna do my best from here on out to focus on what I have in common with other believers....not what my differences are.Good to see you on here Bro.

Thanks for the nice words and the welcome. Yeah.. I refuse (will try) to keep a Godly attitude at all times.
This thread I hope, will be a place for people to express themselves and their faith in a positive matter without being ridiculed. Though we are Apsotolic, and that is the faith of this forum.
The thought I had recently is about how the Lord knows the ending from the beginning. He has blessed me so richly, filled me with HG. Has given me revelations, health, a good job ,and then from time to time I fail Him miserably. You know, in a way, God works backwards.. He is already at the end..He is not in time.. He sees are future "hangups" and still blesses us according to His tender Mercies. His ways are past finding out. All His ways are just and good!

Can we ever honor him enough. I will ever lift mine eyes to Calvary.

Lets Go Forward in Jesus. You Can Make it!!

Re: Positively positive.

If we're going to talk about Jesus Christ and what He's done, I have nothing but good to say.

He has been my Savior for over half a century. He has kept my by His power and has supplied all my needs. Some stuff I thought I needed was never supplied so I guess it wasn't really needed.

Like the Apostle Paul, I can say: "I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." 2 Timothy 1:12
