deseret, do you have nothing better to do with your time than to be here trying to drag up someone's past? Why are you trying to get Rico to drag someone through the mud again by pushing that he answer this question. God forgives our pasts. People should follow his example. Perhaps you have a questionable past. Would you like it if someone were to continually bring up your past mistakes and make fun of you on a public forum? Everyone has something that they don't want publicly made known. How about you deseret? Do you have something to hide? What if someone wants to turn the spotlight on you and pick you apart? How would that feel? Just something to think about.

I think that a person who has vascillated as often as Bro. Price has and has recorded the various doctrinal and holiness swings back and forth, back and forth, back and forth has to expect people to look a little askance at his posts.

He's been encouraged by the most respected and intelligent among us to get himself on a solid footing and get grounded in the Word and in what he believes.

Still, the swings happen.

I think that Bro. Price understands why remarks are made occasionally in regard to this because he himself has admitted to there being a problem and the need that there is for him to find some balance and get a solid footing.

It doesn't mean anybody is trying to vilify him or be mean for the sake of being mean.

That's my opinion anyhow.

What makes WP stand out is that he publicly blasts the very people he had aligned himself with as soon as he makes a change. People that were a godsend to him suddenly are evil and vice versa. Also, this has happened a few times just in the three or four years I have been posting on these boards. It is very difficult to take what he says seriously because I find myself wondering when he will come on and reverse course. BTW, I have no idea who this young lady is.

My two cents about Bro. Price.

I think he is very sincere and really loves the Lord.
I think all of us change our minds about things and see things differently than we did before from time to time.
However, Bro. Price seems to change pretty drastically at times and then vilifies those who still believe as he once did.
We need to cut him some slack. I'm sure he's a good kid.
In his "search for truth" he's had some pretty radical ups and downs.

Bro. Price,
Keep on praying and searching the Word. Be open to the Holy Spirit's leading and keep an open mind when you read the Word. I think you sincerely want Jesus to be supreme and to have first place in your life. Keep that attitude. But learn to be a little more tolerant with brothers and sisters who don't see things the way you do. That's some advice (not criticism or judgment) from an elder.

He is 30 yrs old. Far from being a "kid."
