Ex-Oiler Mike Barber visits Grace Church today - AWESOME.

Today Rev. Mike Barber, former #1 pick of the Houston Oilers, preached an awesome message to the dads at Grace Church in Humble.

He has been involved in prison ministry for over 17 years. God used him mightily to teach on the keys to being a successful father ... among them commitment, compassion, enthusiastic faith, endurance, and more.

All I can say is WOW!!!!

He has not preached in many churches during this time ... but God seems to be shifting his ministry somewhat ... I was REALLY blessed.

He also anointed Bishop Jones and prayed for his healing. It appears, to me, he is gravely ill.

Dan, my husband and I were there at the 11:30 service...we thought he was awesome and the music was great.

I was wondering if you were there! Were you at the 11:30?

How funny! We were sitting in the middle section about 5-6 rows from the back on the right side. I was wearing a black dress with a white sweater...don't know if you saw me...

Unfortunately, we won't be going next week -- I have a conference for work I will be attending and my husband will be with me.

We like what we saw/heard/felt and will definitely be back!
