This is too funny.....You were the one who quit conversing with me, Sis...not vice versa.

Anyway, God is good...and sorry about any misunderstanding.

Do you believe Orthodox Jews are saved?

What needs to be considered in regard to Abraham and Rebekah and indeed the whole family including Lot, Jacob, etc. is that the family were very much mixed up in pagan practices. Interesting story when you read about some of the goings on in that family.

my wife does now wear a wedding ring. we grew up in a church that allowed it going way back. when we got married, I was working in a church that did not. thus we did not have rings in the ceremony nor did we buy any.

Then when we moved to Dallas, my pastor at the time approached me and told me to buy my wife a ring. he explained that it was a protection for her against other men's flirtations. and as we were obediant to my former pastor in not buying rings, we were once again and we bought her a nice though not over the top, ring which she wears.
Have you been to Elder Treeces church? I hope you have a nice suit to wear for every service. They also teach the men to wear a suit for service.Even down to the children.I saw this for myself.
He also claims to have seen a UFO.

Uh..this was LONG AFTER Abraham left paganism and started following the LORD. Why didn't God correct Abraham that jewelry is evil...for that matter why not keep them from doing ANYTHING pagans did, Pagans eat, they take dumps, they put on clothes, they lived in tents lol,,,good grief folks. Just because a pagan did it does not make it wrong, or otherwise you all are sinning just by breathing
