A ring is a ring is a ring - jewelry, ornamentation. It's either OK for a ring in the ear and on the finger or not. All of this saying a wedding band is OK and the rest wrong is nuts!

Question for you moderation folks what is moderation on jewelry?
Loop earrings, nose ring, tongue stud, necklace, gold chain with a cross,
Bracelets for each arm, a gold rolex, engagement ring, wedding ring, mother's ring, sweetheart ring, class ring, birthstone ring, knock you eye out ring,divorce ring, ruby in your navel stuffed with mink hair, anklet, toe rings on each toe??
Would this be moderate???? If not tell us what and why?????
We wear NONE thus we KNOW we are NOT in violation of the verse.
I realize some folks are so beautiful if they didn't wear a wedding ring the opposite sex would throw them on the ground and disrobe them. But some of us average folks don't have that problem.
We are to have moderation in all things. This doesn't mean we make prohibitions against things we don't trust people to be moderate about. The Bible doesn't teach that either.
I do believe that if an individual has difficulty maintaining moderation, it would be better to prohibit for themselves, but that's a decision the individual needs to make.
