I disagree. I have a friend who doesn't wear a wedding band. She is a licensed minister and goes places without her husband, as he has to work. She's been approached numerous times by other single preachers who offer to buy her lunch.
Now, she wasn't flirting, but that ring would have saved some embarrassment!
I'm not sure how a person can 'act married' when their spouse isn't around.
