Brother...that clearly shows the the Bride is the city and that the city is the bride. What more proof do you need?

Whether or not the city is the church? Does it say it is? And if it is....the how do you escape the fact that the church is adorned with ungodly, evil jewelry?

Jewelry is NOT evil within itself saints are just not to wear it. Prax I do not know what else to say to me the passage is saying some the the Bride she is IN the city NOT the city. Have to go to the city to see her that is where she lives.

Why would saints NOT be allowed to wear it if it was not a sin? are you saying something GOOD can be a sin?

OH, can you post that verse btw that says the bride is in the city? You never did say which verse, you just said chapter 21...I guess I just don't know which verse you are referring to that says the bride is in the city

it was a God-given beauty right?

some people are naturally more beautiful are they more given to Pride ?

I heard a preacher preach that when you see the perfect species of a woman or a man we are reminded of what was for everyone in the garden before the fall. some are good looking but bald, or too boney legged, etc. but man in the garden was all perfection combined.

Spiritual Jerusalem has ALWAYS been God's bride. It was in the days of Ezekiel. It is today.

Here we have no continuing city. Jerusalem is always in the process of changing, either going on to perfection or it is backsliding. Jerusalem does not always continue as it is.

The Jerusalem, the lambs wife that John saw coming down out of heaven is the finally perfected city of God. Among that perfected church it will then be said, "Behold the tabernacle of God (this is the person of Jesus) is with man."

Jewelry is forbidden by Paul in NOT wearing gold or pearls. Jewelry in itself is not evil however human nature as it is it promotes pride. Satan fell because of pride his BEAUTY caused it and it was connected with jewels.

So it's a sin to wear something that is good? Anything that someone might have pride over needs to be not worn or used? What about women and pride in their long hair?

That does not say the city "IS" the bride, but comes down "AS" a bride. It doesn't even say "THE" bride but "A" bride.
I must agree with Bro Epley here, this verse is clear as to what it refers to. A further study will show the people going into and out of it as well, unless I am reading it wrong.

I thought that was Epleys verse...He pointed me to Rev 21 and never gave a specific verse...I have yet to see his where he claims the bride is IN the city...you got that one?

So people go in and out of the city...what does that prove? The bible very clearly calls THE Bride that City

Rev 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
Rev 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

I asked and asked and asked for him to show grammatically how this is NOT saying the bride is that city...he did not take me up on that offer.

I asked too for him to show me where it says the bride is IN the city...still no reply
