Amen. Good point elder. It is salvation - where one is going to spend eternity.

How can two walk together except they be agreed, especially on foundational principles of the doctrine of Christ.

Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Heb 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

How can one go on to perfection when they can't even establish the basic foundational principles of the doctrine (teachings) of Christ. How can one mature, become complete, grow and get weaned off of the milk and onto meat, and have God teach them knowledge and cause to understand doctrine so that they can teach and help others; if they can't even accept, establish, get rooted and grounded in the basic foundational principles of the doctrine of Christ?

Apparently, at the merger, they didn't consider this division an issue of salvation.

It's my understanding that that phrase "Not contending for our separate views to the disunity of the body" was inserted into the AoF for this very issue.

Those who wear the PCI badge today are NO more PCI than the modern Democrats are the Democrats of 50 years ago. Most are just Charismatics that baptize in Jesus Name and makeno issue about it. The PCI men preached salvation at repentance I vdery seriously doubt their descendents preach real geniune repentance and their followers really repent. One poster here that attends a "PCI" church said he could not remember the last time he heard a message on the HGB in service. Baptism & the Godhead taught in a PRIVATE class????????????? Elder Gurley did NOT preach Acts 2:38 in a private class.
However their weakness on the message produced these folks who speak more Ashdod than Hebrew!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To be clear NOT ONE PERSON SINCE PENTECOST HAS BEEN SAVED WITHOUT OBEYING ACTS 2:38!

Br. they are telling people they are saved at repentance. That is not truth. It doesn't matter if they have been born of water and Spirit. They are telling the lost a lie. How can that be all right? The merger was and still is against the word of God.

I would be happy to preach at Love & Truth to see how much they love the truth.

They might not love me preaching the truth when I told them everyone who has not obeyed Acts 2:38 is lost.

I don´t think they could fulfill that...so seperate ways are the best...(just my opinion) I would say you can be friends but not agree but to work under the same banner I personally cannot see how it could work out...
