Oh well, you're not the only one who makes that mistake. I notice that someone in the Tech Talk forum made the same mistake. Someone was "loosing" IM contacts. I thought they must have started a deliverance ministry.

This is a neat forum. We have quite a diverse group here. I think it is a pretty good picture of the diversity in the body of Christ. We have some pretty conservative brethren like Coonskinner and Eld. Epley and some who are not quite as conservative like Dan. Some might even consider him to be liberal. To me it seems that he has a great love for the Word and does not just want to accept something as "unquestionable truth" or "papal dogma" just because it has been taught by some in the past. Like those in Berea many years ago he examines the Scriptures to verify truth. As a result, some times he sees things differently than some of the others. Like a group set out to try to do many years ago I think we should endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit until we all come into the unity of the faith (I don't think that will happen until the Rapture), at the same time admonishing all brethren that they shall not contend for their different views to the disunity of the body.
I guess I am missing it. What I find is that the 3 times a sign is given with the Holy Ghost baptism, tongues is the sign. The baptisms where a method is given, it's in the name of Jesus Christ. But, there are times where people are filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized where nothing else is mentioned.
*sigh*
Where have you been? The three examples and John the Baptist and his parents. Tongues isn't mentioned and in the case of John, there is no way he spoke in tongues, yet he was filled with the Holy Ghost from the womb.
