Direction
I would like to request for prayer regarding my situation. I currently have two jobs and I've been thinking of giving up one of them but I am not sure if it is the right move or, at least, the right time.
We're also starting a singles ministry in the local church and just recently, I started teaching at Sunday School again.

Re: Direction
Mark, praying that God will give you clear direction in what to do.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Direction
Search the scriptures. I am in the same situation. Most would tell you to give up one job. Trust and put God first. But again I say pray and search the scriptures.

Re: Direction
Thank you for your prayers. I initially planned on giving up one of my jobs, but my boss was one of the coolest guys on earth. He was so understanding of my concerns and he was willing to make something work for both of us. I am now working part time and he has allowed me to work additional hours only if I'd like to. (win-win) I still have my other full time job :-)
I also now have a very reliable assistant (who is also a brother in Christ) and he's been a great help to me esp the past couple of weeks that I was sick.
Really appreciate everyone's prayers. I know I don't post here a lot but you are often in my thoughts. God bless you all!

Re: Direction
In need of prayer again.
I'm kinda going through depression, probably due to my current situation with my full time job. (Glad I didn't completely give up the other one). Long story short, I need to find a new place in the company because we would need to let go of a lot of people and we would no longer need a lot of team leads. Sad coz we've formed some really good relationships at work. I like my team and my fellow team leads.
Please help me pray that these feelings of sadness and anxiety will not cloud my mind so I can make the right decisions (what new role to take, etc). I feel like this is God's way of allowing me to spend more time for the church and for other things that I am passionate about. I'm having some difficulty discerning the will and voice of God as I am also dealing with other personal battles.
Your prayers are much appreciated.
