What your church website reveals

I just spent about two hours doing some R'n'D on website design. I have looked at a wide variety of church websites, from "bible church" websites to numerous pentecostal (oneness and trinitarian) and charismatic church websites, others etc. I dunno how many I looked at but I just followed google here there and everywhere.

I discovered something interesting.

Looks like about 95-98% of churches with a web presence exist with one mission: to entice disaffected or unchurched christians to come visit and hopefully join.

Practically EVERY church website I looked at was NOT geared toward self-avowed non Christians. Practically EVERY website was designed for people who already fancy themselves christian but who are looking for a social club that will provide high quality entertainment and keep the kids happy.

Amazing.
