Pastor's Father Has Brain Infection
My pastor's father is in serious condition in a Nashville area hospital with a brain infection.
He had an ear infection that he had not gone to the doctor to have treated and the infection moved into his brain. He is comatose at this point and the doctors have said that either the antibiotics will work and he will start recovering or he will die in two days. Please pray for this husband, father, and grandfather. This has all happened in the last day or so.
We are in the process of finishing out renovating a 112 year old building that will be our new church starting next Sunday so as you can imagine my pastor had a lot on his plate before this unexpected and devastating medical emergency happened to his father.
Please pray for God's will to be done. My pastor loves his father and of course wants him to live but he has said that he wants God's will to be done whether it is for his dad to recover or go to heaven. He has a 3 o 4 year old daughter who thinks her grandfather hung the moon and stars so this is going to be very hard for her to understand if her grandfather does not recover.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
