Bro Bill Garrett / Joplin, MO

I do not know how many of you know Bro Garrett in Joplin, MO. It has been years since I have been affiliated with that group but I always remember him a really good man and fantastic preacher. Always enjoyed hearing him and having come to our church and preach.
I had received an email this morning from another old friend asking us to keep Bro Garrett in prayer. He said that Bro Garrett had gotten up to preach this morning and had a heart attack. When I got the message they had said they were working on him. I have not had any further news at this time. I am sure the church and Garrett family would appreciate it if we would keep them in our prayers.

If any of you know them or know anything further please let us know.

Re: Bro Bill Garrett / Joplin, MO

I did get a follow up email today. He did have a heart attack, he is stable. They went in to put in stents today and started on the right side and a little more than halfway through he broke out in a rash. They finished as quickly as possible and are going to go back in tomorrow to put a second stent in on the left side. They are still requesting prayer because he is not out of the woods yet even though he is now stable.
