Thieves are now targeting a common feature in new cars -- the valet key.
The ability to hot-wire cars has become nearly impossible thanks to high-tech ignition systems in most new cars, but that's not stopping thieves from getting a hold of your valet key and stealing your car.
Most car owners forget that the valet keys are often hidden in the glove box. Those keys won't open the trunk, but will open the door and start the car.
Authorities caution car owners to be aware of where you keep your valet key.

They said that most new cars come with three or four keys.
